presented x The Village Co-Op & Squadstyle
expansive & alcohol-free nights with community
The Elevator Lounge is a new 3-hour monthly event at Squadstyle in Frederick, brought to you by The Village Co-Op, Squadstyle, & an array of local, creative wellness vendors.

Elevate your weekend hang, Uplevel your date night, & Find your Village at the New Frederick Night Spot.
OUR FLOW
We begin with an intention-setting circle, where all are welcome to share and receive witnessing as we weave community skills together.
This is followed by an expansive group experience as our Elevator “goes up” together. This could be some facilitated movement, creativity, or community-building activity led by a local vendor.
In the peak middle, it’s choose your own adventure. Join us on the dance floor for ecstatic dance (a judgment-free, communal dance practice that brings you to a state of heightened awareness) as DJs or sound artists set the vibe.
Or, if it’s more your speed, use this time to visit the sauna, collaborate with another lounger, or try out one of the many solo stations set up around the space for reflection. Because sometimes the journey is communal, and sometimes it’s inward.
Afterwards, we reconvene for a grounding group experience as our Elevator “comes back down” together. Again, this could look like anything you can imagine - yin yoga, meditation, or a tea ceremony - led by a local vendor.
Finally, we will close with an integration circle, where you can share out with the group what you’re taking away from the night as we continue to deepen this Village.

Jan / Ellie Hummer of Open Minds, Inc.
Jan / Ellie Hummer is an integrative contemplative practitioner with over 20 years of experience in trauma-informed care, mindfulness education, and holistic mental health support. She is the founder of Open Minds, Inc., where she designs and facilitates programs rooted in somatic awareness, emotional resilience, and restorative healing. Jan also consults with peer-led mindfulness groups in the Kenyan prison system and has a deep commitment to end-of-life care, grief support, and nature-based practices. A Ph.D. candidate in Sustainability in Education at Prescott College, Jan is also a poet and visual artist, recently returning to painting and writing daily haikus inspired by the enso. Her work is grounded in presence, compassion, and a reverence for life’s sacred transitions.
Begin your ecstatic dance journey with a grounding and expansive flow yoga sequence designed to awaken the body and center the mind. This opening offers the option to receive a nourishing head massage using locally sourced rose oil, inviting softness and presence. As we move with the breath, you’ll also have the opportunity to connect with another dancer through a gentle temple massage, deepening our shared intention. This sacred beginning sets the tone for heart-led movement and embodied connection.
Rose Yoga Flow
Simone Whyte is a Priestess, Ritualist, and Healer devoted to the sacred art of remembrance. Walking at the threshold of the seen and unseen, she weaves ritual, healing, and magic into transformative containers that awaken embodiment, expression, and the ecstasy of true essence. Keeper of the Rose and Womb Mysteries, Simone is both teacher and eternal student of the Divine Feminine Arts. Her soul work blends energy alchemy, sacred ceremony, sound healing, movement, and intuitive creativity—guiding women into deeper alignment with their truth and power. Through immersive retreats, workshops, and women’s circles, Simone holds space for soulful transformation and remembrance. Her path is one of reverence—for the mystery, the body, and the beauty of being fully alive. She invites others to remember who they truly are: radiant, rooted, and free.
Simone Whyte, Ordained Priestess
Join Simone Whyte for a soul-led, heart-awakened, grounding journey through the sacred teachings of the Rose Mysteries—a path of deep remembrance, divine embodiment, and feminine revelation. This is more than a gathering—it is an unfolding, a blooming of the truth you carry within. Through a guided meditation journey you will be gently led inward to discover: the soul gifts you are here to share at this threshold of your life, the wisdom of your heart as gateways of remembrance, the codes of the Rose—of beauty, strength, grace, and devotion, and a renewed connection to your sacred essence. This guided journey is for those who feel the stirrings of the ancient feminine rising within—those ready to walk the path of the Rose, embodying their magic, mystery, and medicine. You are not becoming. You are remembering. Let the Rose show you who you truly are.
